ArtSpam Favourites: May 2021
Things are opening! The sun is shining! Ooo its gonna be a wonderful summer chaps :) Despite May felling more like October than actual summer, art has been good. I personally, finally, got out of London and down to the coast where I got to sink my teeth into the brand spanking new museum ‘The Box’. you can see where the investment was because the Museum of Plymouth was in desperate need of a facelift. And my! It’s a great facelift. The exhibits feel new and there’s even a competition on to name the new female Woolly Mammoth. (click the link to enter!)
I also got to go back to one of the best art galleries in London, The National Gallery. It was nice to spend the mid-morning having a wonder around and saying hello to some old favourites. some rooms are in the middle of a refurb, some some art is in new places. As always, it’s nice to mix things up a bit.
Then we have the Victoria and Albert Museum. Personally, my favourite museum in London. if you’ve been to my site before then you’ll know that I wrote up my experience of the amazing ‘Alice: Curiouser and Curiouser exhibition’ (click here for tickets)
So, this month there’s a few fun ones a few interesting ones and a couple of classics, so here we go, here are the Art Spam Favourites for May :)
